ABOUT
Jae Eun Park, a talented Korean-Canadian pianist, has built a successful professional career in several countries including Holland, Italy, Poland, Canada, and the USA. Ms. Park made her international debut as a soloist in Bergen, Holland and has since collaborated with various artists at prestigious venues such as Koerner Recital Hall in Vancouver, Paul Hall at the Juilliard School, Williams Hall at the New England Conservatory, and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. She has also performed as an orchestral pianist, including Anna Clyne’s Night Ferry under the direction of Hugo Wolff at Jordan Hall. She is a former winner of the Thousand Islands International Competition.
Ms. Park has been invited as a collaborative piano fellow at the Music Academy of the West and has recently served as a member of the collaborative pianist staff at the Aspen Music Festival. She has also participated in various other festivals including the International Holland Music Sessions, Casalmaggiore International Music Festival, and Bowdoin International Music Festival. Ms. Park has attended masterclasses led by renowned musicians such as Andreas Ottensamer, Almita Vamos, Jim Walker, Richie Hawley, Kathleen Winkler, and more. She has collaborated with students of renowned educators including Paul Katz, Yeesun Kim, Miriam Fried, and others. Ms. Park has also served as a collaborative pianist at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School and the Juilliard Pre-College, and as a sectional pianist for the New England Conservatory Concert Choir.
Ms. Park's early studies took place at Yewon Art School in South Korea and continued in Canada under the guidance of world-renowned pianist and pedagogue, Lee Kum Sing. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Eastman School of Music, an Artist Diploma from Vancouver Academy of Music, and a Master's degree from New England Conservatory. She has received various scholarships and awards including the Howard Hanson Scholarship, Mary A. Kana Endowed Scholarship, T&I Kleppel Scholarship, Samuel Sanders Collaborative Pianists Awards, and more. She completed her Graduate Diploma at the Juilliard School under the guidance of Jonathan Feldman and Lydia Brown in May 2020.
Ms. Park is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Boston University.
